Magnesium Forte

3 formes de Magnésium

THE IMPORTANCE OF MAGNESIUM

The human body contains about 25 g of magnesium, of which 50 to 60 % is stored in the bones. Magnesium is a cofactor that catalyzes more than 300 reactions in the body. These include DNA and RNA synthesis, cell division, protein synthesis, stabilization of mitochondrial membranes, nerve transmission and cardiac excitability, muscle contraction, blood pressure regulation, and neurotransmitter synthesis.

MAGNESIUM DEFICIENCY

Magnesium deficiency is highly prevalent in Western populations:

  • 77% of women and 72% of men have intakes below recommended dietary levels
  • 47% of adults present with a circulating magnesium deficiency

As only 1% of total body magnesium is found in the blood, serum levels are a poor indicator of magnesium status. Therefore, magnesium deficiency is primarily identified through symptoms, such as:

  • Fatigue
  • Numbness
  • Muscle cramps and spasms
  • Skin tingling
  • Anxiety

A lack of magnesium may also contribute to a higher prevalence of chronic diseases such as metabolic syndrome, angina, type 2 diabetes, and high blood pressure.

3 MAGNESIUM SOURCES FOR BROAD ACTION AND EXCELLENT TOLERANCE

  • Magnesium glycerophosphate: for rapid absorption

  • Magnesium citrate: for alkalizing effect

  • Magnesium bisglycinate: for prolonged action

In addition, Magnesium Forte provides all cofactors that support magnesium’s ability to reduce stress, anxiety, and physical and mental fatigue: vitamins B2, B6, B9, B12, zinc, and taurine.

RECOMMENDED IN THE FOLLOWING CASES

  • Fatigue, stress or anxiety
  • Use of certain medications: diuretics, proton pump inhibitors, laxatives
  • Physically active individuals and athletes
  • Muscle cramps
  • Inflammatory bowel conditions

THE ADVANTAGES OF MAGNESIUM FORTE

  • 100 mg elemental magnesium per tablet

  • Optimal bioavailability (fast + sustained release)

  • Excellent digestive tolerance

  • Easy-to-swallow coated tablet
