Calci+

Multi-source calcium

Calci+, multi-source calcium without compromise

Calcium is one of those nutrients we naturally associate with bones, without always asking whether our daily diet actually provides enough of it. Yet as soon as habits change, for example with fewer dairy products, a vegan diet, an irregular lifestyle, or needs that evolve with age, calcium intake becomes a more concrete concern.

We then look for a simple, well-dosed solution that is easy to integrate into a daily routine, able to complement the diet without multiplying unnecessary ingredients.

Calci+ was designed with this approach in mind. Its formula combines two carefully selected complementary sources of calcium: calcium citrate malate, also known as citrate-malate or CCM, and calcium-standardised lithothamne of marine origin.

The formula also stands out for its clean label approach: no added fillers, anti-caking agents, colourings or preservatives. The content of each capsule is composed exclusively of the two active ingredients, enclosed in a plant-based capsule shell.

CCM & lithothamne, two complementary sources

Calcium citrate malate, also known as calcium citrate-malate or CCM, is a form particularly appreciated for its good solubility, flexible use and high bioavailability. Its absorption is less dependent on gastric acidity, allowing it to be taken either with or without meals. Its good solubility may also help limit certain digestive discomforts sometimes associated with calcium supplements.

Lithothamne brings a different signature. This calcified red algae of marine origin contains a mineral matrix naturally rich in calcium. The selected source is standardised to ensure a consistent content and controlled quality. It is also rigorously tested and meets strict safety standards, particularly regarding heavy metals and key contaminants.

Combined in the same formula, CCM and lithothamne offer two complementary profiles, selected to provide calcium that is high-quality, practical, affordable and suited to everyday habits.

Calcium, an ally at every stage of life

Calcium is not only relevant for older adults. It supports the body from the earliest years of life, when the skeleton is developing, and throughout adulthood, contributing to the maintenance of normal bones and teeth.

At certain stages, calcium intake deserves particular attention. This is especially the case during growth, around menopause, from the age of 50, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or in highly active people whose diet does not always cover their needs.

Dietary habits also play an important role. Low consumption of dairy products, a poorly diversified vegan diet, irregular meals or certain digestive sensitivities can make it more difficult to cover daily intake.

When the diet does not provide enough calcium, the body can mobilise calcium stored in its main reserve: the bones. Maintaining an appropriate intake therefore helps support bone capital, as part of a balanced diet, regular physical activity and an adequate vitamin D status.

Calci+ makes it simple to complement calcium intake when it becomes insufficient, with a multi-source formula designed to integrate easily into everyday life.

Ingredients

Calcium citrate malate, lithothamne powder (Phymatolithon calcareum), capsule shell: plant-based capsule (HPMC).

In combination

Ideally combine with Vitamin D3, which contributes to the normal absorption and utilisation of calcium, as well as to the maintenance of normal bones.

Ordinance of the Federal Department of Home Affairs

Calcium

For a minimum daily intake of 120 mg, calcium contributes:

  • to the maintenance of normal bones
  • to the maintenance of normal teeth
  • to normal muscle function
  • to normal neurotransmission
  • to normal energy-yielding metabolism
  • to normal blood clotting
  • to the normal function of digestive enzymes
  • to the processes of cell division and specialisation

For women aged 50 and over

Calcium contributes to reducing the loss of bone mineral density in postmenopausal women. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures.

This claim specifically concerns women aged 50 and over. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 1200 mg of calcium from all sources.

Calcium and vitamin D after 50

Calcium and vitamin D contribute to reducing the loss of bone mineral density in postmenopausal women. Low bone mineral density is a risk factor for osteoporotic bone fractures.

This claim specifically concerns women aged 50 and over. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of at least 1200 mg of calcium and 20 µg of vitamin D from all sources.
